Soraina Baez is a finance professional with over 20 years of experience in budgeting, grants, and financial operations across higher education, government, and legal sectors. As Assistant Director of Finance at Stevens Institute of Technology, she leads budgeting, payroll, and research grant compliance, supporting both academic and administrative excellence. Her background includes roles in public service and law, blending financial expertise with strategic leadership. Soraina holds a master’s in policy and Innovation from Stevens and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Berkeley College.

With a strong background in higher education finance, policy, and strategic operations, she brings a systems-thinking approach to solving global challenges.
