Are You Ready to Be a GESDC Intern?

Educational Requirements: Are you currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program, or in the final year of a Bachelor’s program? Or have you recently graduated within the last year?

Language Proficiency: Do you have an excellent command of English or another major global language?

Eligibility: Are you someone who is driven, innovative, and committed to making a global impact? We welcome you to apply, provided you are not a child or sibling of a GESDC or UNA-SV staff member.

Important Details to Keep in Mind

Duration: Internships at GESDC last for a minimum of two months and can extend up to six months. You must begin your internship either before or within one year of graduation.

Costs: GESDC internships are unpaid. You will be responsible for all costs related to travel, accommodation, insurance, and living expenses.

Visa and Travel: Interns must arrange and finance their own travel and obtain the necessary visas for the internship location.

Medical Insurance: You are required to have valid global medical insurance to cover any potential accidents or illnesses during your internship.

Confidentiality: Interns must maintain confidentiality and discretion with all unpublished information obtained during the internship.

Academic Credit: You may be eligible to receive academic credit for your internship. Check with your university for their specific policies.
